This is where the help notes, T&C etc are kept.
Pretty informal but here goes :-
Emails - you agree to accept AIR emails. If you don't like them, ignore them, or cancel your account, or ask us to cancel it for you.
Performance etc Nothing guarenteed but we do our best.
Data Retention We do not retain data if you cancel your account. Nor do we keep a record of your messages to other members.
Data Privacy We do not pass your details to anyone (except the police) but see next item.
NO PRIVACY IN MESSAGES If you send a message to a member, they'll have your email address.
NO PHONE NUMBERS from performers. This is for legal reasons and your own safety. Phone numbers in listings will be deleted, if in sigs, the sig edited, and if in comments, the comment deleted.
It's a free site - you get what you pay for 'nuf said
Your account can be deleted by admin for any reason or none FWIW accounts are usually deleted because:-
Models - if you have problems with people you can complain.
Ideally I'd like you to coment their listing, that way if they have done it to other girls, they'll all jump in and say "he did it to me too" and I can delete them.
You can complain to me privately, and I will note his profile in the admin area but I will not take any action unless I get compliants from at least two other models. Even then I'll just warn the guy.
Some people asked if they could restrict the visibility of their information to logged in members. Well now you can - simply choose Members Only on the listing and it becomes invisible to non members.
However at the moment I can't be sure that Google won't index it. I don't think it can, because I don't think it can see it, but be aware of the risk and that I'm making no promises.
The Account page however IS visible to non members (because it has to be visible to members who happen to be currently logged out, but want to respond to an email and click to see who sent it). I have installed a Robots txt file with Disallow user and users paths and while Google and other proper search engines should respect that, it's out of my control.
Contact me. (Hint for me, they need to be "sticky" in publishing options, I need to do this, you can't).
Explained in detail on Account Pages :-
I keep getting people ask for Group Shoots. When I try to arrange them suddenly there is hardly anyone wanting to commit. To organise a day long Group Shoot costs £500-£600 for studio and model, and I'm not willing to run a shoot at a loss.
So there are no AIR Group Shoots.
However if a Model or Studio wants to organise a Group Shoot or Model Studio Day I will promote it as an Event. If they are a success you'll be expected to become a Friend of AIR (if you are not already).
a) You are usually bouncing your email.
Be warned - there seem to be a growing number of anti spam systems that want me to do work so you can get site emails. I won't do that. And if you use Baracuda (or your ISP does) no, I will NOT pay 20 quid in order to send you emails.
Work out how to WHITELIST adultindustryresources.com and join, or rejoin.
b) You might seem to have gone away or be non serious or have failed to provide the information needed to progress from Awaiting Approval.
If you post a comment or in a forum you probably want the reader to go to one of your Listings to see you, your stuff etc. The default doesn't do that - it takes people to your Account page and then they have to click Track to get to your Listings.
Point them the right way by creating a Signature that becomes attached to all your comments and posts. If you edit your signature, the new signature will appear in all your old comments etc.
To create the Signature, go to My Account, then Edit then you'll see it.
If you want a Signature that looks like this :-
Signature - I'm Venus Titian, adult model My Model Listing
then write :-
Signature - I'm Venus Titian, adult model My Model Listing
but obviously using the URL of your Listing.
You have limited room, but should also be able to include an external site as well if you wish.
Go to "Add Content" - (navigation menu, left hand side) - and then choose the type you want to add.
WARNING - NO DUPLICATE CONTENT. If you create multiple listings of the same type, I will simply delete one of them. Possibly not the one you'd like to keep. So if you have a listing, better to EDIT it. Also note that deleting a listing will delete all the Comments on that listing, so again, better to EDIT if you have comments you want to keep.
Let me know. There is a one item that I think I fixed on all Models, but it;s possible that one or two slipped though. I can fix it for you.
Usually file size too large and/or you have illegal characters like !"£$%^&*()_+=[]{} etc in the filename. Basically filenames should be letters and numbers only, no matter what your digital camera defaults to.
Ideally resize your image to make the largest side 600px OR simply adjust the file size to under 900K. (Large images under 900K will be resized for display automatically, but images over 900K will break the save process).
I want to delete, or at least flag, members who seem to be non serious, retired etc. To be honest this is mainly about trying to keep Models current, as they tend to come, make some money and go, whereas many photographers only shoot from time to time as funds permit. A model silent for a year has probably quit, but a photographer might just be on a break...
So, give it a week or two, (might be on holiday), then write to the member again, ticking the "send yourself a copy" box. If no reply, copy me in and I will write as Admin. Note that your message must be seen to be serious, and so make sure it, and your own account, follow the rules:-
The Rules :-
Only Friends of AIR can create Events themselves. Everyone else, send us the details.
Events can be created for any event that needs publicity, such as :-
FREE for Friends of AIR, otherwise £29 fee for commercial events (e.g. studio group shoot promotion) posted by people who are NOT Friends of AIR.
Comments on Listings help members decide whether or not they should consider working with the member who has been commented on. Comments should ONLY relate to personal experiences with the person.
I will view as Comment Spam any comments re "how great you look", "oh my, we have the same dress" etc. If you are lucky I will just delete them. If you annoy me, you'll end up in the Dog House, unable to post comments at all.
I clean out the old topics from time to time.
Mainly I delete work offered topics once they are out of date, (e.g. "shoots in Jan" will be wiped in Feb) and most are deleted after a few months.
