Purpleport frustration!

Sorry but needed to vent somewhere! Having been in this industry for 9 years I found purpleport and joined them over a year ago. I pay for the higher membership and put a lot of castings on there to find new talent to work with as a lot do not know about it use AIr.

So put a listing up that apparently breached T&C's so fair enough the casting was removed. I emailed them an apology, hit enter and went back to my acccount and locked.

Opened support ticket and nothing heard back. How very annoying!

Vent over!

I had a similar experience, lots of good feedback and reviews, paid for account, suddenly 1 day I was blocked. If you experience was like mine I wouldn't hold out for any positive news from your support ticket.

:( Very annoying.

Oh we just got banned from PP because someone complained about me enquiring about their adult work.

Not alone then! Thought it may just be me!

I also got banned.
It was also for asking a model about adult work which was on her profile !
Bunch or arses who run that site. Dont miss it at all.

Sorry to hear that happened to you all and its totally crazy;

I joined recently, told them my levels and asked what I was allowed to advertise too - expecting them to be like MM, Purestorm & Net-model with limits to what your allowed to advertise...

They told me I can advertise all my levels in posts & on my profile I just can't add any explicit adult pictures, so this is really unfair if you lot have been blocked/banned because they recently changed their minds without informing any of you.

I guess ill be getting blocked or banned soon too then.

As with other sites like MadCow, PP admin will instantly ban without any caution.

Apart from AIR does anyone know where else we can post Adult castings?

PrivArt - Find me on Purpleport, ModelMayhem, Tumblr and Twitter!

I tend not to approach models on Purpleport for adult stuff unless it's someone I know does adult work or who spells out clearly in their profile notes what they do. There are a lot of models on there who tick the adult box but not nude - the suspicion is that many don't understand what adult means and think it's just to say they're over 18. There's also a wide range of opinion of what "adult" is - it's a very vague term that can mean anything from open leg nude, to hardcore B/G. As a result, it's a minefield when approaching models.

the pp needs to sort their website out.. if they dont allow adult advertising there...then well they have to get rid of that box because there are plenty of models who doesnt even know what adult means... and yes it is a very general term.. like adult solo, even fetish is also adult, hard g/g or b/g..they need to be specific on what they it allows on their website... i have told the admin on this...and they didnt bothered to reply me, instead they banned me of telling them about it..

Iv'e had lots of Images removed from PP, because they have been 'too explicit' for the site, Even though they have a section to click when uploading which says, NSFW, including Open Leg images! It states NO PORN, Which is obvious, but I had an image removed of me holding a sex toy -.- Not Porn or 'Explicit' But then I also have More Hardcore Images on there which haven't been removed :/

I no longer look for Adult work on there, because photographers who use it, like above' are banned/blocked for asking models about their levels of adult work! No-one seems to reply to my adult castings on there :/

My account was deleted 4 years ago without warning. Some silly immature model made an accusation against me on Facebook and that was that. Even though I employed a solicitor to clear my name, I still have a life ban.

I even released the video featuring the young lady to demonstrate that everything that she had said about me was a lie. The only truthful thing she said was that she turned up at my studio!

The irony is that the model is nowhere to be seen any more, whereas I'm still in business.

I had to mark one as NSFW that was a close up on the faces of two girls as they were just about to go in for a kiss. When I appealed, they said it was because some workplaces have very strict policies, though in my experience such workplaces would block or forbid access to the whole site in any case.

The admin there is just. a P..... iv been on PP for few years and had excellent feedback of being a reliable model. Im also a paid member on and off, i pay if i need to put a casting for tours! its how i contribute to people of being on that site!.. but for few years being a member there i never had a problems, they suspended me first for putting 5 locations, which infact they allows on their site..if they dont want it they should sort their website out and disable in putting 5 locations..I have explained and i even do apologize.. they sent me a notifications 10 minutes, after 10 minutes im banned..woww!!! i never had a chance to read those notifications after doing my night shifts at work...

Same as Keyhole Video they banned me for asking a model about her adult work. She complained, I then had an email addressed with something like "Aloha" to tell me I'm barred. So I rejoined with another name and email address just to p**s them off. Still on there!!

Amy Latina's picture

I might rejoin there and p""s them off too ha ha ha... but noooo way...i will never pay for it. most people dont bother to pay there anyway! so no matter what, even if you pay or not.. it doesnt makes any difference...

I received a "You have been likely warned" email just before I was banned. The problem with that is I have never been "Warned" at all.

As being banned implies that we have done something seriously wrong, could we take legal action? I'm assuming not as someone would have done it by now.

all sites are site owners property, run exactly as the site owner wishes. Banned just means you aren't wanted. It isn't considered to imply anything else. Don't line lawyers pockets :-)

Yup, I am also banned. This is the 3rd time! This last time, I reported threats from a member who cancelled a shoot then thought it was ok to make threats of bad feedback, slander, ect. I reported this to admin. They removed me. Total bullshit. The end.

you can report AIR members to me, but for other naming and shaming Uk law is very strict and basically if you do, it makes the publisher liable as well. If you want to name and shame, create a blog on a free blogging platform, and write it all there.

There is a FACEBOOK page which is a CUG (Closed User Group), where models can exchange details of those who are pretty dangerous, to just those who say they are professionals when they are evidently not, those who say they are a "studio" but do not have a studio, just a pokey little flat.

Mail me for details.

I was really annoyed and quite upset to start with, but finding this old post and realising just how many people they have done this too,
they are clearly dodgy and I think we are better off away from them,

Did they give any refund to those of you who had paid for the unlimited upgrades?
