This is site is for people involved in the adult industry as models, professional and amateur photographers, video producers, crew and the business side.
  • Complete the information on this page then press CREATE ACCOUNT.
  • Only add a single Main Image at this time.
  • You will find that the title of your User Profile changes randomly, but you can put this right later by going to My Account then editing User Profile, which is also the best way to add extra pics.

IMPORTANT

  • Male models - read and digest http://www.adultindustryresources.com/drupal5/content/male-models-site-rules or get deleted. I have zero tolerence for abuse.
  • Larger, older, ladies - you are an Unconventional Model. If you list as Conventional you'll be demoted or deleted.
  • Photographers / Producers - make sure that your profile supports your choice of Status. If you claim to be Pro or Serious Amateur, provide the evidence.
  • Photographers / Producers - read the Idiots - A Field Guide - see left hand sidebar - and be sensible. This is a Modelling Site.

HOTMAIL & LIVE WARNING

Hotmail and Live blocks AIR messages. If you join with a Hotmail address the following will happen:-
  • Your email address will be added to your listing. It will be PUBLIC.
  • The site contact system (that would send you messages) will be turned off (so that people don't use it by mistake).
  • A Hotmail warning box will appear by your listing, telling people to contact you direct.

Spamarrest etc

  • Whitelist adultindustryresources.com as a domain, so ANYTHING will get through.
  • We treat your bot autoresponses as spam and ignore their tedious requests.
  • Be advised that if you insist on running air mail via your bot, you can never get any help, never get a new password, never contact us, because we will know that replying to you is pointless.
  • We might even delete you, without notice, obnviously, since you won't actually see any notice we send.
  • We are tough because this is a free site and I don't have the time to jump through hoops simply because you don't know how to configure your own software.
Account information
Your preferred username; punctuation is not allowed except for periods, hyphens, and underscores.
A valid e-mail address. All e-mails from the system will be sent to this address. The e-mail address is not made public and will only be used if you wish to receive a new password or wish to receive certain news or notifications by e-mail.
Provide a password for the new account in both fields.

Categories
Only Models need to complete.
To multiple select, hold down CTRL while making selections with mouse.
Select no more than two.
False completion of this will result in deletion. Choose 1, or 1 from each if you are both Model and Photographer. DO NOT SELECT FRIEND OF AIR unless you have PAID
CONTENT SHARE - models tick if you do this with models. Use CTRL while holding down Mouse to Multi-select.
Be vague if you want to - "North East England" is fine.
Main Picture
This is used as your image in all the listings and search functions.

ALL MEMBERS MUST HAVE ONE, but you can use a logo, picture of your facilities, etc if you are not a model or photographer.

Upload ads pic, but only SUBMIT will save your entry.

  • MUST NOT BE HARDCORE.
  • Models - picture of you. MUST BE PORTRAIT (vertical) style, not landscape (horizontal).
  • Size - big ones can break during upload. Keep them under 200K.
  • Non models -show a sample of your work, (even if amateur, landscape/still life, whatever), your logo, your location/studio, your banner etc.*
  • Male Models - IMPORTANT NOTES follow the rules.
Common Errors
  • Image Fails to Upload (and you have sized it under 200K ) - send to us and we'll sort it.
  • Wrong Image Appears - database error that can happen when your file name is the same as an existing one. Change the file name (on your PC) to something less common, e.g. from me.jpg to mekjk7.jpg and try uploading again.
*These can be landscape as only Find Models uses a Grid layout. If you are a Model AND a Photographer, for example, you must abide by the MODEL image rules, ie a portrait format picture of you.
  • Web page addresses and e-mail addresses turn into links automatically.
  • Allowed HTML tags: <a> <em> <strong> <cite> <code> <ul> <ol> <li> <dl> <dt> <dd>
  • Lines and paragraphs break automatically.

Write something. Models - things you like, or avoid. Photographers / Producers - you must know what you want to shoot, be it art nude abstract or upskirt or magazine or porn. Show in your text that you are real. Even better of course - include some PICS, and / or links to your online galleries. Blank text areas make me nervous, and you will be likely to be deleted if there are any other significant absences. Important Notes
  • Showreels - If you have one, contact us to have it added. If you don't have one, see Showreels.
  • Hotmail & Live Users, also any "please confirm your email" systems like spamarrest - your email address will be published. This is because they fail to reliably deliver message sent through the Contact Author system, so people have to reach you directly from their own system.

If you have image upload problems:-

  • Can't upload at all. Reduce the file size to under 200K. Make sure it's a jgp or png. NOT A BMP.
  • Wrong image displays. Delete it and change it's name to something likely to be unique, like namedate#.jpg. (What is happening is that DB is displaying image already uploaded, with the same name as yours).
